Energy HPC and AI Conference

At the Energy High Performance Computing and AI Conference at Rice University in Houston, experts from the energy industry, IT, and research are coming together to advance HPC and AI in the energy sector. A team from Fraunhofer ITWM is on site to present four projects: DLseis, Carme, STX, and NASE.

International Tire Colloquium 2026

The 5th IAVSD Symposium »Tyre Models for Vehicle Dynamics Analysis« takes place on March 25 and 26, 2026, in Kaiserslautern and will be hosted by Fraunhofer ITWM. The topics covered at this international event range from mechanical modeling, friction/adhesion, and tire-road interaction to NVH, temperature/abrasion, energy losses, and real-time applications (HIL/SIL/DIL).

Falling Walls Lab Kaiserslautern

The Falling Walls Foundation is holding an international pitch event at 42 Kaiserslautern, where early-career professionals will present scientific breakthroughs and innovative ideas to a jury of experts, with a particular focus on Rhineland-Palatinate and the RPTU environment, among others. The winner will represent Rhineland-Palatinate in the final in Berlin. An open innovation market is planned in the exhibition from approximately 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
