With its support for spin-offs, the High Performance Center makes a significant contribution to the innovation strategy of Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition to direct contract research for industry, the knowledge and technology transfer of research results into economic value creation thus takes place.
The High Performance Center sees itself as a pioneer/incubator for simulation and software technologies and helps to close technological gaps for external start-ups and SMEs. To support spin-offs and cooperation with start-ups, cooperation with the joint start-up office of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau and the university has been intensified through mutual promotion of events and activities.
